AESSEAL® has revealed a recent development to it’s popular SCMS (Short Canister Mixer Seal). The SCMS is now available in both single and dual configurations enabling it to be fitted to a larger variety of modern and mature mixer designs as well as agitator and reactor applications.
With a reduced height, both single and dual versions are ideal in situations where space is limited. Also suitable for top and side entry applications, the SCMS is a versatile seal that can be used in hazardous areas.
An optional modular bearing assembly can also be added to both the single and dual seal versions.
The new single face configuration enables it to be used in ATEX zones 1 and 2 whilst the dual seal continues to be suitable for ATEX zone 0, 1 and 2.
